Thank you to everyone that came out for THE Harris Hot House Chili Cook-Off & Guac-A-Thon (and salsa and jello shots), especially the contestants...
Without you guys, there would be no event. A lot of you noticed this year had a different vibe. We intentionally tried to downsize the event so that we would be able to interact with the guests more. It seemingly worked.
We would love to hear your opinions about how you think this year worked out.
Go ahead and mark your calendars now, The Cook-Off is the second weekend in October every year, that means that it will be October 14th, 2006.

OK OK OK
just so you alllllll know, I am well aware that the cook-off site has not been updated (I think five of you have told me in the last 24 hours...)
I will do everything I can to get it updated in the next week, including the pics from last year...
just to answer the main question, the cookoff is the second weekend in october anually... so this year it lands on the weekend of october 8th :)
